'LET’S BEGIN WITH A PROJECT THAT STARTED IN 2024 THAT IS STILL PROVIDING VALUE FOR OUR CLIENT IN 2026'

As it always does, the year is passing scarily fast and who could believe that we’re already in autumn.

So, before we hunker down for the cosy period, let’s take a look back and see what we got up to in a gloriously sunny spring and summer, which was also the hottest UK summer on record!

Let’s begin with a project that started in 2024 that is still providing value for our client in 2026.

What initially began as a studio shoot to create a set of promotional videos for one of our blue-chip clients in the pharmaceutical industry, has now been translated into over 60 languages!

That must be some kind of record, at least it is for us!

Some of the more recent languages we’ve completed have included Kazakhstan Kazakh, Chilean Spanish and a number of languages from the Indian subcontinent such as Gujarati, Marathi and Tamil.

This is an excellent example of just how far one video project can reach, while keeping costs relatively low.

With changes as easy as a translated voice over, subtitles, captions, etc. the possibilities are endless!

If you’d like to learn more about this specific project we’ve actually written a case study which you can find HERE.

We were off to the beautiful country of Finland in spring to shoot additional content for an animation project we’ve been working on for another pharmaceutical client.

Some of the hotel decor!

We had already made the animation itself which is a moving timeline that demonstrates how far the company has come since the discovery of a specific disease 100 years ago.

Milestones are highlighted along the journey with lovely pop-out graphics and videos to explain the progress made over the period.

The additional videos we shot were 2-camera setups, capturing interviews with doctors explaining the drugs used to treat the disease, which fitted into the timeline nicely.

On top of that, we also updated the rest of the timeline, such as some changes to the legal fine print, and a slight rebrand.

All-in-all the end result looked great; it is nice to work on a project that incorporates so many different types of media into one polished final product – needless to say the client was very happy with it 🙂

Speaking of being happy, what is nicer than a lovely sunny day?!

Well, that’s exactly what we got when we went to Liverpool Street to capture cinematic footage of the newly opened EMEA Headquarters of one of our data security clients.

What a pleasure it was filming such a lovely building on a beautiful day, and we hope it helps to advertise the new space for them!

And on headquarters, we were off to another over the warmer months, this time a UK headquarters in Berkshire to film an ‘Experience Day’.

An ‘Experience Day’ is an event day our client puts on to show off everything they’ve been recently working on and features workshops, demonstrations and speakers.

It is always a very interesting day to film and this year even featured famous Ferrari (among other brands) designer Frank Stephenson.

We captured the full day and turned it into a ‘Flavour of the Day’ video which gives a nice summary of the day, great for people who couldn’t make it along and perfect for advertising next year’s event.

We also ran a livestream of the Q&A session which went out to hundreds online for people who couldn’t make it in person.

It all went off without a hitch, and we are already looking forward to next year!

As always, spring and summer saw its share of editing work for self-shot video, though so many people are using our guide now, it is making our job slightly easier 😉

One self-shot project worth mentioning involved another blue-chip client of ours asking leaders to answer questions regarding their career journeys and advice they would give to employees looking to progress in a similar way.

They were incredibly informative and is another great example of how powerful a low cost video project can be, this time in the amount of people it can inspire!

Like usual we worked our magic on the footage by adding lovely animations, music, audio mastering and a nice colour grade.

There were 6 videos in total so it is always good to let a professional bring them all together and add consistency across the entire project.

If you struggle to decide when to self-shoot a video vs hire a professional film crew, we have written a blog that answers that very question, which you can read HERE.

We have loads more projects to cover, but we think we’ll leave it here for now!

We hope you had a fantastic spring and summer like us and your autumn is shaping up nicely.

We already have many projects planned including a nice little trip to Barcelona, so bring on the falling leaves!
